What can we call "Pinsa"?
The word "pinsa" comes from the Latin word `` Pinsere`` which means "stretch".
"Moderna Pinsa Romana" is the revival of an ancient traditional Roman recipe, revised with the use of new ingredients and modern preparation techniques.
The inspiration and birth of the pinsa came from an ancient product, which was made by the rural populations living outside the walls of ancient Rome.
These populations used to cook "skiastiatin" or "fokatsia" by grinding cereal grains, specifically millet, barley and spelt, adding salt and aromatic herbs.
